John appears in an experimental theatre experience hosted by The Seacoast Repertory Theater called MAD HAUS. This is a one-night event that is reimagined every month with an ever changing format and developing story-line. The show utilizes circus acts, shadow puppets, life-size puppets, poetry, dance numbers, as well as some local original music to convey a through-line.

John has been apart of the "tribe" for months now and has appeared in three episodes of Mad Haus: MadPopYes!, Electric Mystic Travelcade, and Continuum. You can find him portraying a disheveled, jaded, cigarette-wielding, angel figure named RAMIEL, mainly performing spoken-word pieces and Tom Waits tunes-- usually accompanying himself on piano. Up next is the Magical Mystery Mad Haus!

It’s a one-off; here today, gone tomorrow. It streaks by, bright in the night, and when the light fades, it’s gone.“The Electric Mystic Travelcade,” June’s offering is done; if you didn’t make it, it’s a theatrical loss. ... In this single show, aerial hoops and fabrics, and a cyr wheel were used. There were no less than a dozen singers, and half the cast were talented hoofers. There were masks, marionettes, shadow and hand puppets. Heck, they employed a treadmill, and cooked pancakes on stage!
